Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?

Generally, AC units that have been used for more than 10 years should be replaced with newer and more effective models. The rule stipulates that if the service life of the air conditioning equipment multiplied by the repair cost exceeds $5,000, it should be replaced. If it is less than this value, the unit should be repaired. You should consult a good air conditioning repair service providers.

Try cleaning the filters and coils of the air conditioner to see if the improved airflow can solve the problem. If there is icing, you need to run the device with a fan only to melt it. If that doesn’t make the device blow cold air again, it may be that the refrigerant level is low.
